James Bailey-Pearce (Christchurch)

It was a superb month for Christchurch Football Club, and although it was a team effort on the whole, one player stood out, playing some of the best football of his career so far.

James Bailey-Pearce had an exceptional month, scoring goals, supplying assists and generally terrifying defences with his electric runs down the left flank.

Against Alton Town he scored a cracking free kick with a sweet left foot curler that gave the visiting keeper no chance whatsoever.

And his manager Peter Moore was thrilled to hear that he has won the Pitchside.net player of the month award.

Moore said, "I'm really pleased for him, because he has been outstanding for us since the first day he arrived at this club. He'll be made up about this."
