Justin Bennett - Andover

What can you say about Justin Bennett that hasn’t already been said?
He has had an unbelievable season so far and March just rubber stamped the authority he has on the opponents goal week in week out.
Andover won six of their seven matches played in March, also securing their place in the final of the Wessex League Cup.
The Lions found the back of their opponents net on no fewer than 20 occasions, with Bennett scoring 11 of them!
More than half his teams goals came from some part of Bennett’s anatomy, which is an impressive feat, considering how many goals the team scored in all.
As April got under way Bennett found the back of the net against Fareham Town but was then taken to hospital after an injury.
Bennett suffered twisted knee ligaments and may well be out for the rest of the campaign, although the club are hoping he will be back in time for the Wessex League Cup Final on May 1, against Totton at Thatcham’s Waterside Park.
Pitchside wishes him a speedy recovery and well done for the award of Pitchside Player of the Month for March 2006.
