Cowes Sports 1 Brockenhurst 2

Dave Adams scored a cracking goal for Brockenhurst in an excellent 2-1 away win at Cowes Sports but then ended up being taken to hospital with an injury which will more than likely keep him out of the side for the rest of the season.

Adams struck a left foot beauty from the edge of the box to give the Badgers the lead and Darren Powell made it 2-0 shortly after with the home side pulling a goal back just before the break.

Soon after the interval though a strong challenge from behind ended with Adams calf muscle being wripped open in what Brock manager Paul Arnold described as "looking like someone running a calving knife through the back of his leg."
