Stags to celebrate at the 'Pink Ball'

This coming Friday, 6 July 2007, AFC Totton will be hosting a ‘Pink Ball’ to celebrate the clubs magnificent achievement last season of reaching the FA Vase Final at the new Wembley Stadium.

Although it was massively disappointing on the day for the Stags, going down 3-1 to Truro City, they were still one of the first clubs in the country to play at what is now surely the best stadium in the world.

The Totton camp will most certainly never forget such a day out, playing on the hallowed turf before any Premiership player and before England stepped onto the sacred pitch.

Totton were also runners up in the league on goal difference to Gosport Borough and their manager Stuart Ritchie picked up the Pitchside Manager of the Year Award.

So the fully deserved celebrations will take place at Eastleigh’s Ten Acre Stadium, with a marquee for a capacity of 200 people.

The packed evening will consist of a four course meal, live entertainment from a top class entertainer/DJ, a large raffle, a top class auction with a compare, and a re-run of the FA Vase Final on a big screen.

The dress code is very smart/casual, with a touch of ‘pink’ in honour of last season’s unforgettable pink away shirt.

There are still some tickets available at £45 per person, or you can book your own private table which will seat ten at £450.
