Alresford Town 0 - 1 Moneyfields

Moneyfields got back to winning ways with a 1-0 success at Alresford on Tuesday night but they were made to work hard for the three points by their newly promoted hosts.

Pabs N`Doye, with his first goal of the season, seized on the rebound after Barry Hoopers free-kick was blocked for the all-important goal in the tenth minute.

Joint boss Bobby De St Croix was pleased with his side`s efforts.

He said, “It was good to follow up our FA Cup win at Winchester with a much-needed victory in the league.

”Alresford worked very hard and at 1-0 you can never take anything for granted.”
